Thought of the Week

Laws alone can not secure freedom of expression; in order that every man present his views without penalty there must be spirit of tolerance in the entire population. Albert Einstein

Sun Kissed

Whoohoo, it's almost the weekend!  We've had the most spectacular week of beautiful Spring weather, and I hope it continues for a while longer.  I've been the most craptastic blogging buddy over the last month, and hopefully, I'll find some free time by the end of the weekend to get my behind in gear and to start working on some new creative classes.  But on a positive note, almost all of my upcoming classes are prepped and ready, and the recent classes have just been so much fun.
It's just a delight to meet and teach so my awesome people.  This crafting stuff sure beats the hell out of healthcare administration.  You can find my latest schedule of classes on my website HERE.  For those who are local, there was a cancellation for tomorrow's class, so there is one opening and for the next workshop on Tuesday there are still a couple of slots available.
For the charity make 'n take in June, we've decided the proceeds will be donated to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.  Their 2014 Colorado Ride for Kids is June 8, 2014 in Golden, CO.

Now on to the card for today!
Whimsy Stamps has a monthly Facebook challenge and this month's challenge is themed Sweet.  I've used one of the new stamps from Elisabeth Belle (Little Cottage Cuties) called Sun Kissed Vignette and the sentiment is from the new line of clear stamps by SC Designs (available at Whimsy) called Sweet as Candy.
The paper is from Adornit and the die cut is called Beach Spring from Memory Box.

The background was done with a background Flourishes stamp, she was colored up with Copics and topped with a little bit of stickles.

Thanks for stopping by today, and I hope everyone has a marvelous weekend.

Still wish I lived in the area. What a hoot your classes must be.
