Holy cannoli, have I neglected my blogging and visiting or what?!!
The rugrats are back in school this week, and I'm trying to get back into some kind of crafting and creating mood. I think them being home for so long zapped any kind of mojo I had.
Thanks for all of the well wishes for my dad! He's doing wonderful. He's being discharged home today from the inpatient Rehab Unit and will start outpatient therapy next week along with dialysis. He had a kidney transplant 5 or 6 years ago and is bummed that the kidney didn't start back up again after his heart surgery, but he's accepting that life can be just as full and rich (with a bit of planning ahead) having dialysis 3x week.

At least in the past couple of weeks, I got all of the underused and/or unused items in my craftroom ready for sale at the Trash and Treasure sale at Simple Pleasures which is my LSS. Cathy, the owner, does these types of sales numerous times throughout the year. Anybody can bring in their crafting items they want to sell, and if it sells, then the purchase amount is credited to your account at the store for future purchases!! There are some serious bargains to be had and what a great way to purchase some new items!
Anyhoo, back to topic which is actually posting on a card.
This adorable and sweet fairy is one of my newest purchases from Mo Manning, and she is called Winter Fairy Talva. I've paired her up with some older Bo Bunny papers from last year. The corner die cuts are from Memory Box and the flowers were from my stash. The sentiment is from PTI. Speaking of Memory Box, have y'all seen the new release? Some great dies to choose from in the 108 new dies.
Of course she's been colored up with copics. The stamped snowflakes around the image were done with versafine and some EP and stickles and liquid pearls were done on the snowball, wings and her dress.

Sorry to hear that your Dad now needs dialysis again. Doesn't seem fair after he's been through the transplant already...just bad luck!
Hopefully he will stay positive and as you say use careful planning to help him be able to get on with his life.
