Love Boat

I hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend, and if you have to trudge off to work in the morning, it's not too bad of a week.

Today I managed to get down to my craft room for a little bit of time and put a card together.  I was going to spend a lot more time down there today since it's too cold to do much else, but Dish Network got in the way.  This time of year, they are trying to entice customers to purchase the movie channels so they have all of the movie channels for free.  I was just going to sit down for a bit, and then I started going through the channels and lo and behold a couple of hours later, the movie was over and the next one beginning!

At least I got one card done.

This hot guy is from Kenny K and called Romeo.  Isn't he just so sexy? All I could think about when coloring him up was reservoir (hence the name love boat) and Kenny should've made the pants just a wee bit lower:)!!

  I thought he'd be the perfect image for trying out some additional coloring techniques for black skin.  I wanted to go a little bit darker than I ended up doing, but my ink started to get a little too sticky, so I went with medium-light  tones.

The papers are from Fancy Pants called Love Note, the die cuts are both from Memory Box and the pearls from my stash.

I've colored him up with copics and a few polychromos.  The skin was done with E29, 27, 23, 11, 02 and the reds with R29, 24, 22, 20
